For mocking Medikal, self-proclaimed Dancehall King Shatta Wale has threatened to assault and arrest King Promise and Kuami Eugene’s impersonators.
On April 14, 2023, Medikal gave a speech at the Consortium of Ghanaian Artiste Lookalikes. If his impersonation of Medikal is sincere, he should find some money, the man said.
Additionally, he made some derogatory remarks about King Promise’s copy and Kuami Eugene’s impersonator, both of whom performed at concerts and solicited donations from the audience.
Kuami Eugene and King Promise, who were upset with Medikal’s contributions, broadcast their copy live on Instagram.
Evidently irritated, Medikal’s Godfather Shatta Wale threatened to assault and arrest them if they didn’t counsel themselves.
Instead of capitalizing on the fame of celebrities, Shatta Wale suggested the lookalikes to seek assistance from renowned Tiktokers and create their own material.
