After discovering the little child had lost her mother to death, Nana Ama McBrown gave out some of her 4-year-old daughter Baby Maxin’s used clothes and shoes which she has now outgrown to the little girl.
When Nana Ama McBrown learned the child was an orphan, she made the decision to contribute to her as well as assume complete responsibility for her future well-being.
Following additional talks with her husband, the girl’s family, and church officials, McBrown received approval to assume legal custody of the unidentified infant.
