American television writer and newscaster Becky Quick co-anchors the financial news programs On the Money and Squawk Box on CNBC.

With the assistance of her father, a geologist, Quick’s family tracked oil production “booms” as she was raised in Indiana, Ohio, Texas, and Oklahoma.
The family finally settled in Medford, New Jersey, as their residence. While holding the position of The Daily Targum’s editor-in-chief in 1993, Quick graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Political Science.
While still an undergraduate, she was awarded the Times Mirror Fellowship by Rutgers’ Journalism Resources Center.
