A suburb of Accra called Ashaiman has been invaded by troops since midnight, according to reports from reliable sources like Myjoyonline, in order to teach the locals there a painful lesson.
This happens a few days after their coworker allegedly suffered a fatal assault from unidentified individuals nearby. A young man is seen being spanked in some social media videos as a neighbor secretly films from a nearby window.
Other images and videos showed the locals being forced to roll around in muddy puddles left by the early rain.
Ernest Norgbey, a representative for Ashaiman, confirmed that it is an “unofficial ban” to Accra-based Starr FM.
