Years after fighting Mzbel and camped out with her biggest enemy Afia Schwarzenegger, Iona openly pleaded for pardon.
Iona, a homeless singer who Mzbel housed and nurtured like a sister, was stabbed in the back by Mzbel when she left her home and joined forces with Afia Schwar.
The performer, who many have compared to the late Ebony Reigns, extended an olive branch to Mzbel and begged her for pardon for everything she had done to slander her. It is likely that she was feeling the weight of her conscience at the time.
This occurred during the Entertainment Review segment of Peace FM, which was presented by seasoned radio presenter Akwasi Aboagye.
“Over the course of the last three years, I’ve learned a lot. I’ll use your opportunity to approach her and let her know that I hope we don’t have any issues because I don’t want to argue with anyone.
I want to greet her out in public without feeling uncomfortable. If she has anything against me, she ought to beg my pardon. I implore her to pardon me. Whatever issues we encounter, if she’s hearing, she should accept my apology.
People nowadays pass away anyway, so it is of no use to argue with them. I don’t want to continue living with that guilt on my mind; I want us to live in harmony, she said to the host.
