Dancehall singer Stonebwoy responded to the military’s invasion of Ashaiman and its brutal treatment of some residents following the death of one of their own.
Earlier today, images and video from Ahaiman emerged online showing some of the town’s citizens being brutalized by military personnel after it was claimed that a group of residents murdered one of their own.
Sources claim that the military guy secretly visited his cheating girlfriend to confirm his claims. However, when he got there, some locals attacked him and his girlfriend’s boyfriend stabbed him in the neck.
Following the commotion, Stonwbwoy urged Ashaiman to remain cool. He also denounced the use of force by both the troops and the civilians.
It’s 9 am in New York and I’m just waking up to the news of what’s going on in my beloved Ashaiman. I unequivocally condemn all acts of violence and lawlessness, whether it relates to the killing of a member of the armed forces. May all those found culpable be found out and made to face the law fully?”
